‘Cinderella’s Secret Slipper’ takes place a few years after the classic tale ‘Cinderella’.
Cinderella and the Prince are happily married with a son who is about to turn five years old.
This story is a glimpse into what life is like for the characters after the fairy tale ends. It is a really cute idea.
The illustrations aren’t bad but I would have liked them to be a bit more detailed. For example: Cinderella’s dress for the birthday party had almost no detail on it.
I found the writing to be engaging and humorous. Children will love this book.
I loved the idea of including a short quiz at the end of the book. It is a great way to ensure that the reader has paid attention to detail.
I rate this cute children’s book as 4 out of 5 stars.
