*** WARNING ***

This book contains scenes that are violent and graphic. It also contains sexual situations. This book is NOT suitable for readers under the age of eighteen.

I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I opened my mailbox and found three books by author TONY BOWMAN inside. Not only was I surprised, but I was also excited. I have previously read three of his books and had loved every single one of them. In fact, all three were given well-deserved 5 Star ratings and I had added the rest of his books to my “To Be Read” list.

Although I was already reading a couple other books when Tony’s books arrived at my house, I quickly put the other books to the side and started reading “Nine Fingers” immediately. And I am very glad I did.

This story begins with the novella entitled “Nine Fingers: The Tucson Ripper” (which is currently being offered for free on Amazon) but it is not necessary to read the books in order to follow the storyline. However, why would you not when the novella is free?

Anyway, this book grabs your attention from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until long after the last page has been read.

My advice to potential readers? Don’t let the fact that this book contains werewolves discourage you from reading it. It is a far cry from the sappy and predictable Young Adult werewolf stories that seem to be dominating bookstore shelves on an alarmingly regular basis. This book is gritty, it’s fast-paced. It’s thrilling and terrifying in equal measure and the characters are both believable and compelling. In short, this book is FANTASTIC.

I only discovered Tony Bowman’s books this year. Initially I had entered to win a copy of one of his book’s through the Goodreads Giveaway program. This giveaway win turned out to be the beginning of a love affair with Tony Bowman’s books and has led to him earning a place on my list of all-time favourite authors.

One of the things that astounds me about Tony Bowman is that he writes whatever he wants and does not limit himself to a single genre. He has written Science Fiction, Horror, Thrillers, Paranormal Fiction and Post-Apocalyptic Fiction.

I have to admit that I generally do not like werewolf tales. They all seem to be the same or at least similar. This book may contain werewolves, but is UNIQUE. And, it is easily the best werewolf book I have ever read.

I love the fact that the author has not followed anyone else’s view or belief of what a werewolf is. He has created an entire history and this book will scare the pants off its readers. Why? One word = PLAUSIBILITY.

Character Building = 5 Stars

Plot = 5 Stars

Originality = 5 Stars

Readability = 5 Stars

OVERALL, I RATE THIS BOOK AS 5 OUT OF 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you choose only one book in the paranormal fiction/werewolf/horror category to read this year or next, YOU MUST CHOOSE “NINE FINGERS”.
