~ I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third book in Jamie Thornton’s “Feast of Weeds” series. Books One and Two were absolutely phenomenal and INFESTATION is just as good.

This is a post-apocalyptic zombie series, but unlike any other series you have ever read. In fact, I hesitate to call this “zombie fiction” since the “zombies” are not the typical walking dead that is written about in most books of this genre.

Book One is available free of charge on Amazon and since it is only novella length, readers will whip through it easily.

In INFESTATION, twelve year old Maibe is still with sixteen year old Gabbi, but the rest of the band of young runaways have been captured and it is up to Gabbi and Maibe to figure out how to rescue them.

This book will suck you in. Once you begin, you will not want to put it down.

The zombies aren’t really zombies. The “cure” for the zombie virus works, but it messes you up, both physically and psychologically.

I don’t want to give too much away, but if you want a riveting read with atypical heroes and a story that is packed with action, adventure and emotion, then this is a MUST READ.

I give INFESTATION 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and am eagerly awaiting the fourth book in the series.
