Amie's Book Reviews

Bio: I am a book reviewer and editor/ proof-reader. I am a forty-something year old mother of two adult sons. I live in Ontario, Canada. As well as publishing reviews here on my blog, I also post reviews on Goodreads, on Audible.com, on NetGalley, on Amazon.com, on Amazon.ca, on my Instagram feed, my Pinterest account, my Facebook page, and on my Twitter account. I am a prolific reader and enjoy reading a wide variety of genres. I read both fiction and non-fiction books. My favorite author of all time is JRR Tolkein. He was the first author I ever encountered who was able to create an entirely new world with it's own history and filled with a variety of races and cultures, and made is absolutely believable. If you are an author, publisher or narrator who would like me to review your book or audiobook please contact me by email at amiegaudet@yahoo.com I am not paid to review any books. Normally authors will provide me with a free copy of their book in exchange for an honest review. If you are an author and you wish for me to review your book, please be advised that I am HONEST. I will not lie or embellish my review for any reason. All reviews are 100% my opinion and I always try to be fair. 1. Amie: I also am having problems sending you my novel for review. I gave you a book at Toronto;s WOTS. It is called 1066 Knight Haralde. It is the second of three. The first is 1066 The Healer and the third, The Welsh Lords. It is about two worlds: the misery of life in a poor mountainous fiefdom under the harsh regime of William the Conqueror. Then comes two magi from the East bearing knowledge and science, gifts more powerful than William’s sword or the English longbow.

  2. Amie,
It was good to meet you at the Writers’ ‘Union table at Toronto’s Word On The Street. You are performing an invaluable service, thank you for including Canadian authors.
