Jae Ellard has written a smart and realistic book that assists readers in understanding exactly what it is that “work-life balance” means to the individual reader.

She understands and acknowledges that “…there are as many ways as there are people on the planet to describe what living a balanced life would feel like.”

This book divides the concept of work-life balance into 5 essential truths.

Her ideas are revolutionary and everyone who has ever struggled for balance in their lives needs to read this book.

Jae gives readers permission to feel how they feel. This book is not only targeted at high-ranking business people, it is for everyone from students to stay at home mothers and from volunteers to CEOs.
My favorite quote from this book is:
When you say yes to people, requests, and projects, that are in conflict with your values, or when you engage with people who do not support – or even worse, who disrespect – your values, you are actually saying “no” to yourself and creating imbalance in your life.”

This book is a must read for everyone from seniors to young adults in college.
It does not pull any punches. It is an honest and simple look at work-life balance that offers advice that can be easily followed.

There are no concepts in this book that talk-down to the reader. Everyone can easily understand what is written on every page.
Jae Ellard does NOT use psychobabble and this book is 100% readable and 100% truthful.

I rate this book as 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
